About the Artist
Tasha Lopez De Victoria (b. 1983, TK) and Monica Lopez De Victoria (b. 1986, TK) grew up home-schooled in Miami with a do-it-yourself ethic. The sisters were raised with intense psychological and spiritual discussion regarding behavior, relationships, and truth. Their work has been included in the traveling exhibition "Uncertain States of America: American Art in the 3rd Millennium" curated by Hans Ulrich Obrist, Daniel Birnbaum, and Gunnar B. Kvaran and in the Second Moscow Biennal of Contemporary Art.
