Ei Arakawa & Amy Sillman
One night only. Live performance of painting-actions (not action-painting). Lives of paintings in and out. True paintings will dance and move in many ways. Participants and Lecturers includes: Patrick Palermo, Sergei Tcherepnin, Uncle Woody Sullender, Ei Arakawa, Patricia Treib, Charles Mayton, Patrick Smith, David Zuckerman, Alisha Kerlin, and MORE. About the Artist
Ei Arakawa (b. Japan, 1977) stages inter-subjective group performances that teeter on the brink of random chaos. His recent works have taken place at Movement Research at the Judson Church, New York, Royal College of Art, London, NGBK, Berlin, and Reena Spaulings Fine Art, New York.

Amy Sillman is a painter based in Brooklyn, NY, and upstate. She is represented by Sikkema Jenkins Co. in NYC, and also shows in LA at Susanne Vielmetter LA Projects and in Berlin at Carlier Gebauer Gallery. Sillman's work is in numerous public collections, including MoMA, The Whitney Museum, The Boston Museum of Fine Art, and the Art Institute of Chicago.
